Dr. Luke Revelt was born in Peterborough, UK and raised in Peoria. He completed dental school at Southern Illinois University School of Dental Medicine. Dr. Luke remained there to complete his Advanced Education in General Dentistry residency. He then received his specialty training in Philadelphia at Temple University Maurice H. Kornberg School of Dentistry, receiving his certificate in endodontics and master of science.
During dental school, Dr. Luke received the American Association for Dental Research Student Fellowship with which he conducted research on salivary gland cancer. When graduating from Southern Illinois University School of Dental Medicine, Dr. Luke was awarded the Odontographic Society of Chicago Dr. Irwin B. Robinson Award for Student-Research Excellence, American Association of Endodontics Student Achievement Award, and American Academy of Implant Dentistry Award. While at Temple University, his research focused on understanding the interactions between fungal and bacterial pathogens found within infected root canals. Dr. Luke is a board eligible member of the American Board of Endodontics and is an American Association of Endodontics member.
In his free time, Dr. Luke enjoys reading in parks, working out, ceramics, and building models.
