ENDODONTISTS AND DENTAL IMPLANTS (part 1):
60 year old healthy female who had previously been an endodontic patient of ours for a different area of the mouth. She was referred back to our office for evaluation for a dental implant on the UR quad. After careful examination with CBCT, this patient was given the fixed replacement options including: 1) bridge 2) Implant WITH conventional sinus lift 3) Implant WITHOUT conventional sinus augmentation, but rather an internal sinus lift. All necessary communications were made with her restorative dentist and it was decided to pursue option #3. We feel the outcome to be favorable….
